GUIDANCE - CONTROLLERS AND PROCESSORS
Data controllers and data processors guidance description
With data processors now directly liable under GDPR new provisions must be included in contracts (including contracts in place before 25 May 2018). All data processing agreements have to be reviewed. This could be an onerous task however our guidance sets out in clear language what needs to be included in data processing agreements going forward. Our guidance document is drafted in such a way that it is easily understood and can be tailored to your organisation. The guidance can be easily added to the organisations policies and procedures files. The guidance also helps demonstrate compliance and accountability with the GDPR, something the ICO are strict about and expect all organisations to show.
The guidance includes content on:
- What is processing and what has changed.
- What needs to be changed in data processing contracts.
- What happens to contracts already in place on 25 May 2018
- Data processors own obligations under GDPR.
